Eat With Confidence:
Your Roadmap to Fueling Your Body After Bariatric Surgery
A six month program designed to support you within your first two years after bariatric surgery to optimize your nutrition, develop healthy habits, and improve your relationship with food.
There are 4 phases you go through after weight loss surgery, in each phase I’ll give you resources, tools, and milestones to move through each one with ease.
Your body is healing after surgery and protein and hydration are of utmost importance. During this period we will make it a priority to get you a system in place to help you reach your goals. You'll be supported with recipes, meal plans and schedules to optimize your nutrition and health.
Rapid Weight Loss
You’re starting to feel good and rapidly losing weight! Many people refer to this period as the beginning of the “honeymoon period.” This is the perfect time to start building healthy habits and fuel your body for optimal health.
Slow & Steady
During phase 3 your weight loss begins to slow down as your body adjusts and your stomach capacity begins to increase. This can be a concerning point for many post ops but with the right support you can navigate this phase with ease.
In phase 4 you’ll reach your new normal after surgery. Some describe this period as when the “honeymoon ends.” Your weight has settled at a new normal. At times there may be regain but with the right techniques and tools you can prevent significant weight regain occuring.
I’ll give you the tools, resources, and guidance to thrive in every phase including personal feedback and the opportunity to ask questions and get support.
It’s not just about ‘what’ to eat, it’s ALSO about how you eat, when you eat, and why you eat. I can teach you how to put it all together.

3 Levels To Cater to Your Needs:
What others are saying about working with me:
“I'm just so grateful that you have created this course. I had my surgery in Mexico, and I'm on a facebook page for that surgery group, but you really can't trust any of the nutrition advice the patients throw around. Everyone seems to be all over the map. I just loved all the handouts you provide. It makes it really easy to mix and match to create a well-rounded menu. Also, you're a great instructor. It's sometimes hard to connect with people over zoom but I felt like I was sitting in the same room with you.”
“I liked everyone sharing their trials and tribulations! I also liked the meal plans, recipes, charts, restaurant and fast food lists but most of all knowing you are not the only one going through all the emotions of Bariatric surgery. The program made me look at all aspects of Bariatric surgery and gave me the courage not to be lazy and find the time for myself, such as meal prep and exercise.”
“Eat with Confidence'' was easy to follow - the information was great and covered a lot of topics (that I had questions about) and I liked accessibility to the dietitians (and the forum). My confidence improved Immensely! I was terrified to "eat out" (or ordering in due to the pandemic) and what choices I should make. The handouts were invaluable. Plus I like the simplicity of the meal prep suggestions (and taking it to a level that is so stress free - for me at least).
“Before taking this program, my confidence was at an all time low. I was giving up on myself. My confidence is back because this course has made me aware of where I can improve and it's doable. I no longer feel alone. Eat with Confidence has equipped me with the tools for portion sizes, meal prep, recipes. How much protein, carbs, veg and fat I should be incorporating into my meal prep. Knowledge is power.”
“I went through the 1 year post op time period during this course. I was starting to panic because things do change during this time and I started to receive less support from the clinic which was to be expected. I have a much bigger toolbox since starting this program. Lots of downloadable information and suggestions available. And the honesty of the group shares was the best. I learned I just have to be willing to show up for myself each day and that can also look different day to day. It doesn't have to be perfect.”
“This program was simple and straightforward, well organized, thoughtful and provided great handouts. Before taking the program I had a good understanding but my confidence was iffy (at best). The handouts and concise video approach was just what I needed to get started. Now I feel empowered and that I have the tools I need to be successful!"

Hi, I'm Kristin Willard,
Bariatric Dietitian & Nutrition Coach
I see so many surgery centers focusing on the support BEFORE surgery but often lack the support afterwards. That's where I come in!
There's so much of a focus on "getting surgery done" that many post ops feel lost and confused about what to eat afterwards.
I can help.
Yes, nutrition is important after surgery but so are the habits you build and your relationship with food.
I don’t want you to just maximize your nutrition in the first year after surgery, I want to help you nourish your body and change your relationship with it.
Bariatric surgery is a tool to help you reach your body goals but without the necessary mindset shifts and support, you won’t know how to use it properly and get the best results.
For the past 7 years I've been a Registered Dietitian in the bariatric community. I’ve worked with over a thousand bariatric patients in the office and online and I’ve brought all my knowledge into this program.
I created Eat with Confidence to bridge the gap between bariatric surgery and the rest of your life. I'd be honored to support you as you walk across the bridge.
